Works Well Under Pressure!!
Pressure relief valves are critical components of aircraft fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. These valves assist with one of three functions: safety relief, pressure regulation, and protection against thermal expansion. Lee PRI is specifically designed for these functions and helps ensure the safety and reliability of aircraft. Like other products from The Lee Company, Lee PRI is compact and lightweight, with sufficient durability to be used throughout the 30-year lifespan of an aircraft without replacement. These products are available in various sizes and are designed to withstand a range of pressure levels. In addition to sizes ranging from 0.187 inches in diameter to a maximum of 0.812 inches, threaded removable products are also available. Custom options with selectable flow/opening pressure/closing pressure and zero-leak models are also available. If you would like to learn about the configuration of relief valves, important performance characteristics, design challenges and trade-offs, and common failure modes from an unbiased perspective, please refer to our eBook, "Engineer's Guide to Selecting Pressure Relief Valves."

basic information
- Safety Relief Protects systems that may experience sudden pressure spikes. It is important that it operates as intended from a standby state until it needs to be used. Each component's opening pressure, flow rate, and closing pressure are all inspected before shipment to ensure reliable operation with low leakage and tight hysteresis design. Quiet operation due to built-in damping. Designed for a drive pressure of 3,000 psi. - Pressure Regulating Unlike Safety Relief, it operates frequently. Achieves stable operation by calibrating the uneven forces acting on the valve body immediately after opening, thanks to a "momentum-free" design. Opening pressure: 50~500 psid. - Thermal Relief Protects the system from fluid thermal expansion due to rapid temperature changes when moving from extremely cold environments at 30,000 ft to desert runways. - Zero Leak Equipped with a leak-free seal. - High Pressure Safety Relief designed for a drive pressure of 5,000 psi. - High Flow For applications requiring both high relief pressure and high flow, with screw mounting.
