The Lee Solenoid Valve combines space and weight reduction with excellent performance and reliability for demanding applications such as hydraulic, fuel, and pneumatic systems in aerospace. Its innovative design and advanced technology have set new standards for space, weight savings, and power consumption. The weight of the lightest version is less than 0.14 pounds (64g), and it consumes only 7.8 watts at DC 28 V. Each subcomponent and manufacturing process is optimized to create a proven low-leak valve design with the highest performance, longest lifespan, and best reliability. By eliminating traditional O-rings and using the unique polyamide-imide Lee MultiSeal, these space and power savings and simplified port layouts have been achieved. Lee Miniature Piloting Solenoid Valves The most compact, with a diameter of just 0.875 inches and a weight of less than 64g. The threaded body allows for easy installation/removal and maintenance, capable of handling system pressures up to 5000 psi. Efficient coil design with low power consumption of 7.8 W at 28 Vdc. Cv value: 0.01 360° Porting In addition to the features of our standard SOV, the Lee MultiSeal and its shape modifications provide omnidirectional ports, enhancing flexibility in housing design. This allows for potential weight reduction. Cv value: 0.005 Zero Leak For applications where zero leakage is critical, equipped with polyamide-imide seals and tested for one minute without leakage at nitrogen. Drive pressure: Single coil for 3000 psi. Cv value: 0.005 Latching Ideal for devices where power consumption is important. Incorporates a permanent magnet in the coil, allowing for On/Off switching with a momentary pulse of less than one joule.
