basic information
**Lecture Overview** Japan has significant potential for the introduction of solar power generation on building roofs and walls, and there is growing anticipation for the development of perovskite solar cells, which can be easily installed on rooftops and windows. The 7th Basic Energy Plan also states that perovskite solar cells are expected to account for about 10% of the solar power generation installation targets, and various manufacturers are energetically advancing demonstration experiments starting in 2024. Furthermore, in addition to perovskite, new solar power generation technologies are emerging that can be installed on low-load-bearing roofs and building walls, such as lightweight flexible types and integrated building materials. This seminar will organize the challenges to promote these new solar power generation technologies and elaborate on the necessary measures to create demand. **Lecture Items** ■ Domestic and international trends towards the social implementation of perovskite ■ Comparison between perovskite and silicon panels ■ New technologies for lightweight and multifunctional solar power generation ■ Challenges and countermeasures for the dissemination of new solar technologies ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange session
