【Lecture Overview】 In this century, international health issues have become increasingly diverse, encompassing areas such as infectious disease response, drug development, training and securing healthcare personnel, and the relationship between climate change and health, making international collaboration essential. Against the backdrop of the alignment between international movements and domestic policies, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has actively engaged in international health. In August of the 6th year of Reiwa, the "Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare International Health Vision" was formulated, which includes the basic policy for the international health field, key themes for focused efforts, and specific initiatives.
