I have been involved in work related to consultation and support for people with disabilities for a long time, primarily in the fields of welfare and education. During this time, I experienced a shift from the medical model, which focuses on improving the disability itself for better social adaptation, to the social model, which aims to improve the social environment to make it more accessible for people with disabilities. This sparked my interest in the idea that everyone, regardless of age or condition, can live together in society, leading me to this research. If there is anything unique about my perspective, it may be that I approach issues from the four domains of "psychology," "welfare," "education," and "society." Additionally, I strive to understand and incorporate the concept of "community" in this context.
