HMS II.3 LN HEC is a dummy head that is ideal for low noise measurements in the field of telephony under realistic conditions. It is equipped with pseudo ears, a human-like external ear canal, and a pseudo mouth. It conforms to the shape and acoustic characteristics requirements of ITU-T Recommendation P.57 and ITU-T Recommendation P.58, making it suitable for measurement scenarios in the vicinity of the ear as well as sound fields away from the ear. It can be used for testing transducers and signal processing for handsets, headsets, headphones, hands-free devices, voice-operated devices, hearing protection devices, and more.
