◆Overview This is an ice thermal storage chiller water supply system developed in collaboration by Maekawa's natural refrigerant refrigeration technology and Japan B.A.C. Co., Ltd.'s ice-making technology. (Patent pending) It is an environmentally friendly, non-Freon system that provides stable supply of cold water close to 0°C in a space-saving, safe, and highly efficient manner. It received the Heat Pump and Thermal Storage Center Promotion Award from the General Incorporated Foundation for the Demand Side Management Awards in the first year of Reiwa. ◆Reasons for Selection Environmental Contribution & Energy Saving Effects The system is equipped with environmentally conscious features such as the use of natural refrigerants, energy saving, and efficient power usage through smart energy management. Additionally, by combining with demand response and solar power generation, it enables effective use of energy, allowing for economical operation while reducing environmental impact. Compact & Quick Response to Demand Despite being space-saving, the increased ice production capacity allows for high ice-making ability even in confined spaces. Moreover, it can be installed in a short construction period, minimizing equipment downtime and enabling efficient installation.
