basic information
**Lecture Overview** In February of this year, the 7th Energy Basic Plan was decided. Energy is the foundation that supports economic activities and social life. Its stable supply determines the fate of the nation. The core of energy policy is "diversity" and "balance." It is important to take a comprehensive approach from a medium- to long-term perspective while accurately assessing changes in international situations, including politics, and domestic environments. In this lecture, I would like to share my views on more realistic and effective energy policies based on my experience in energy administration. **Lecture Topics** - Energy Policy: S + 3E - Trends in Japan's Power Source Composition - Energy Mix - Differences in Energy Structure by Region - Decarbonization and Carbon Neutrality - Japan's Policies Toward Carbon Neutrality - Expansion of Nuclear Power Utilization - Technological Development Toward Carbon Neutrality - Related Q&A - Business Card and Information Exchange Session
