About this product This is a friction fastness testing machine that can easily conduct color transfer phenomena caused by friction with dyed fabrics. ■Detailed Information It is a friction testing machine that evaluates dye fastness. The test specimen and cotton cloth are attached to a crock finger and rubbed together. The fastness is determined by comparing the cotton cloth with a gray scale. There are both manual and automatic devices available. It complies with BS 1006/4655 ASTM6279 (manual), GB/T3920/5712, DO2, ISO 105 X 12/D02, AATCC 8/165, M&S C8/C8A/C25/C52, and NEXT 10/6. ■Features - Official equipment of the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) - Simple operation and design Using an L-shaped manual handle and counter, it measures the friction dye fastness of fibers with either dry or wet samples. It comes with a steel sample holder and a test finger with a diameter of 16mm.
