basic information
【Course Overview】 Following the formulation of the Sixth Basic Energy Plan, the emergence of geopolitical risks, the rapid increase in electricity demand due to advancements in GX and DX, and the integration of energy and industrial policies in Europe and the United States have led to the Cabinet decision on the "seventh energy basic plan," which has shifted to a "realistic approach." In this course, we will analyze the impacts of the seventh energy basic plan, AI, the revised Energy Conservation Act, and carbon pricing, and discuss how these will shape the future of the electricity business and how to address the challenges during the transition period ahead. Furthermore, we will explore the essence of the "stakeholder" issue in electricity infrastructure that could hinder future developments in the electricity business, and present three prescriptions: productivity innovation, diversification and multi-skilling of human resources, and raising public awareness of the importance of infrastructure. 【Course Topics】 ■ New phase surrounding the electricity business ■ Trends in the electricity business entering a new phase ■ The stakeholder issue in electricity infrastructure that could hinder business development ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange meeting
