By designing orifices tailored to the environment, it is possible to reduce leakage steam semi-permanently and improve thermal efficiency!
We would like to introduce a case study on improving thermal efficiency through the introduction of orifice-type traps. Conventional steam traps discharge condensate by opening and closing an internal valve, but the valve mechanism deteriorates and wears out in about 2 to 5 years. This trap has a simple structure without a valve body, so there is no steam leakage due to valve deterioration or wear. Additionally, there are examples of quality improvement due to stabilized condensate discharge, as well as reductions in running costs and installation costs, and suppression of water hammer. [Case Overview] ■ Issue: The trap does not open at low differential pressure, causing condensate to accumulate and preventing an increase in hot air temperature. ■ Effect: Stable discharge of condensate even at low differential pressure leads to an increase in hot air temperature. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Our company is dedicated to pursuing "the creation of new value" in order to remain a one-of-a-kind leader in the field of orifice traps. Our product, "O-TRAP," features characteristics that are not found in typical valve traps, such as "minimal steam leakage," "no aging changes," and "little to no maintenance or inspection required." Additionally, due to its high performance that surpasses that of other products, you can expect energy-saving effects simply by implementing it, so please leave the replacement of steam traps to us.
