By applying a fluorine coating to the specially designed black blade that emphasizes sharpness, the sliding with the material being cut is improved, reducing the resistance during cutting by about half (compared to the Olfa special black blade). It can also be used for cutting materials other than cardboard, such as Halepane. ■ For cutting slippery materials, use the 'Wavy Blade.' This blade is ideal for cutting slippery materials that regular utility knives struggle with. The wavy sharpened edge grips slippery materials firmly, allowing for smooth cuts. It is suitable for vinyl-coated pipe covers, glass wool, ropes, cardboard, stretch film, and more. Both types of blades can be attached to large utility knife bodies.
