■Measurement Principle This measuring device continuously collects sample gas using a built-in pump and sends it to the detector. When the sample gas, which has diffused and been absorbed into the electrolyte through a gas-permeable membrane, is oxidized by potentiostatic electrolysis, a weak electrolytic current is generated and amplified, which is then displayed as the concentration of the target gas. As shown in the figure above, it consists of a detector (electrolytic cell) equipped with a gas-permeable membrane, working electrode, and counter electrode, along with a potentiostatic power supply and amplifier.
