<Speaker Introduction> ■Matsuo Iwata, President and CEO, Leadership Consulting Co., Ltd. Former CEO of Starbucks Coffee Japan. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Osaka University, he worked at Nissan Motor Co. and obtained an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He has successfully implemented management reforms across various industries, including Japan Coca-Cola, Atlas, and THE BODY SHOP, and particularly strengthened the brand and improved performance at Starbucks. He advocates for "empathetic leadership" and has authored numerous books. Currently, he focuses on leadership development and also serves as a part-time lecturer at Waseda University. ■Tatsunori Matsui, President and CEO, JECC Co., Ltd. Graduated from the Faculty of Literature at Rikkyo University and completed the master's program in Business Design at the same university. After gaining management experience at American Express, he joined JECC in 2001. He served as a director overseeing the consulting division before assuming his current position in 2023. Focusing on "creating innovative people and organizations," he works on leadership development for executives and managers. His publications include "How to Create a Team that Moves with a 'Helpful Mind' to Create Value," which has garnered support in many workplaces.
