Temperature sensor IC with ±0.5℃ accuracy and pulse count interface.
The "CT1721" is a temperature sensor IC with a pulse count interface. The application only requires an external pull-up resistor. The DIO pin of this chip can be directly connected to the GPIO pin of the MCU, and since devices in single conversion mode do not require MCU timer resources, it can reduce the software overhead of the MCU. Additionally, it integrates a bandgap circuit, an AD converter, and a digital interface, providing an open-drain output. The DIO pin serves both as a power supply and a digital pulse output (open-drain). When the DIO pin is powered through a pull-up resistor, the chip begins temperature measurement and continues to send temperature data via pulse count until the MCU pulls the DIO pin low. This chip can connect up to nine sensors to the same MCU I/O pin, distinguished by an address code (set by the user using the AD0 and AD1 pins). It also supports temperature measurement in either single conversion or continuous conversion mode.
