This is a thermal expansion insulation sheet made using expanded graphite. When exposed to high temperatures such as flames, the expanded graphite within the sheet expands to block the flames. The sheet can be made up to 2 meters wide and can be combined or laminated with materials such as glass mesh, glass paper, or aluminum foil to add further functionality.
