Our center conducts "water quality testing" based on the Water Supply Act as a registered testing organization recognized by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare. Water quality testing includes physicochemical tests and microbiological tests to confirm the suitability or unsuitability for drinking. All water quality tests necessary for reporting to administrative agencies are conducted. The Kitasato Environmental Science Center, a general incorporated foundation, was established in April 1977 with the aim of widely returning the results of its activities to society, based on the Kitasato University School of Hygiene's Environmental Health Research Center.
