We would like to introduce a case study on the collaboration between XYθ plane parallel mechanism control and image processing. In the XYθ plane parallel mechanism, three-axis parallel control is essential. Conventional servo controllers lack the functionality for mechanism transformation and could not issue operation commands in the orthogonal system of XYθ. This challenge was addressed with the one-board motion controller "SLM4000." By incorporating dedicated mechanism transformation processing within this product, we achieved command execution in the orthogonal system (XYθ), allowing for advantages such as utilization as an automated machine through G-code and Techno language.
