Wear suppression for folding line guides! High durability surface treatment for carbide.
Surface treatment "Surmo X® treatment"
For those troubled by early wear and replacement frequency of guide components, Surmo X® treatment improves sliding properties and extends guide lifespan, reducing maintenance costs.
By applying Surmo X (R) treatment to the sliding line guide, the affinity with the wire material is reduced, and wear is suppressed. This allows for the maintenance of high precision sliding over the long term. 【Features】 ■ Only the bonding layer of the carbide surface is removed ■ No coating, so there is no dimensional change ■ Due to low-temperature treatment, it can also accommodate carbide products after shrink fitting and brazing ■ Treatment can be applied deep into the inner diameter ■ By using it as a base treatment for coating, the adhesion strength of the coating can be enhanced *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Mizuho Kogyo Co., Ltd. has been a rare manufacturer of carbide tools and various molds since its establishment in 1944, continuing the production and sales of carbide tools for over 80 years. We also offer special surface treatments such as welding rods "Triamant" and "SurmoX treatment." The "SurmoX treatment" does not cause dimensional changes before and after processing due to its coating-free nature, and it can be applied to brazed items and interference fits due to its low-temperature process. Additionally, it can be applied to deep internal diameters where conventional coatings were not possible. This is expected to prevent seizure and adhesion, as well as improve the release properties of powder molding molds. In recent years, we have also been able to manufacture inserts for development projects and small-lot special-shaped inserts in a short delivery time using a method called "plate chocolate manufacturing." Furthermore, please trust Mizuho Kogyo for OEMs of carbide holders with brazing or direct taps, as well as for spot products.
