Ultraviolet absorbent for cosmetics
Aegivita OS is an effective UV-B absorber suitable for a wide range of sunscreen products, also known as octocrylene. This colorless liquid UV filter can be easily incorporated into the oil phase of sunscreen formulations. It provides effective protection in the range of 290 to 315 nm. Generally, it is used in combination with other UV absorbers to enhance SPF. It also functions as a UV stabilizer for emulsions, polymers, and dyes. It is ideal for sun care and skin care products aimed at everyday protection.
