Ultraviolet absorbers for cosmetics
Aegivita OCT is an oil-soluble UV absorber widely used in cosmetics. It primarily absorbs ultraviolet rays in the UVB range (280–320nm), enhancing sun protection effects. Additionally, it has high light stability, which helps to stabilize other UV absorbers (e.g., Avobenzone, Aegivita AVB). It is highly water-resistant, making it suitable for waterproof products. It has good compatibility with oily ingredients, making it easy to incorporate into various formulations such as lotions and creams. It can be applied in a wide range of cosmetics, including sunscreens, foundations, and lip care products.
