Urethane Association Type Thickener RHEOBYK-7601

RHEOBYK-7601 is a liquid urethane associative thickener that stabilizes the viscosity of paint during color matching with pigment pastes.

"RHEOBYK-7601" is a polyurethane associative thickener suitable for colorant tinting. It increases viscosity in low shear regions and creates a high pseudoplastic flow behavior. As a result, drip resistance and storage stability are significantly improved, and good leveling is also achieved. When added to color paste, this additive enhances the compatibility of the system's color paste while maintaining viscosity. Due to its composition, the addition of RHEOBYK-7601 is very simple, requiring no temperature control or pH adjustment. The balanced compatibility of this additive allows for use in various paint systems, particularly yielding good results in low VOC and VOC-free formulations. When combined with rheological additives effective in high shear regions, optimal workability is achieved.
