"Mitabest" is a specialized machine that can create folded and glued bindings for architectural and civil engineering drawings. The paper flow is the same as that of lay-flat binding, but the adhesive application is only along the spine and the small edge, with a consistent width on both edges rather than across the entire surface. Additionally, the paper being bonded is thin and made of weak copy paper.
