Biodegradable adhesive interlining with PlaX
We have developed a biodegradable adhesive interlining using the plant-derived biomass material "PlaX." This biodegradable double-dot adhesive interlining consists of fabric made with "PlaX" and adhesives made with polylactic acid (PLA). "PlaX" undergoes hydrolysis under industrial composting conditions and ultimately breaks down into water and carbon dioxide. This enables composting of garments using adhesive interlinings, which has been difficult until now. The "PlaX" interlining is of the double-dot type, allowing for a wide range of applications in clothing, and it is expected to contribute to the realization of a circular society. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
