【Lecture Overview】 There is no doubt that the recent rise in temperatures and the warming of the Earth are caused by human activities (according to the IPCC report), which necessitates concrete actions towards decarbonization, a mission shared globally. It is particularly urgent for the top management of private companies to learn and significantly shift towards environmentally conscious management. Sometimes, region-wide initiatives in collaboration with both public and private sectors are also necessary. In this era, each individual's actions are being questioned as we face the reality that the world's average temperature is projected to rise by 4 degrees by the end of the century if things continue as they are.
