【Lecture Overview】 We will unravel the direction and response status of the 2024 medical fee revision based on data analysis results. By understanding the response status of hospitals considering regional characteristics and the initiatives of pioneering hospitals, we will explore what opportunities for action exist even in a challenging hospital management environment. Additionally, by looking ahead to 2040 and beyond, we can envision the ideal healthcare delivery system. Although discussions for the 2026 medical fee revision have just begun, we believe that by considering what revisions should be made with an eye on the future healthcare delivery system, the direction for the next medical fee revision will become clearer.
