Protect factories and logistics hubs from flooding and torrential rain! Swedish-made flood barriers.
INERO
Flood prevention measures in European factories. Swedish-made flood barriers to prevent operational shutdowns and inventory damage.
INERO is a Swedish-made reusable water barrier that is adopted in factories and logistics hubs across Europe. It stands independently by simply connecting the units, allowing for quick installation by a small number of people in a short amount of time. After flooding, it can be cleaned and reused, reducing environmental impact as no waste is generated. Compared to traditional sandbags, it offers rapid and efficient installation and removal, significantly alleviating the burden on site. It is utilized to prevent flooding in front of factory and warehouse shutters, as well as at loading entrances, minimizing operational downtime and damage to inventory assets. This water barrier has now begun its rollout in Japan. As the latest flood prevention solution, it protects industrial sites from sudden heavy rains and internal flooding.

Detailed information
-
【Swedish Civil Defense Agency】 As a preparation for flood control measures both domestically and internationally, a total of 5,000 meters of H80 type flood barriers have been procured and deployed, with regular training conducted under the guidance of Inero. In 2016, the Baltic States, Finland, and Romania introduced them, and in 2017, Croatia adopted them in collaboration with the EU. Tests regarding functionality, stability, and operability have been completed, and they have protected assets from flooding during multiple emergency deployments.

The Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories of France requested INERO to conduct a demonstration in Méry-sur-Oise to verify the effectiveness of the INERO water stop board (assembly speed, water resistance, resistance to waves, driftwood, and floating debris, as well as disassembly and repackaging).

[UK Environment Agency] A large number of H100 type flood barriers, including corner sections, have been adopted. They are centrally stored by a logistics company in preparation for deployment across the UK. Staff have received training on a scale of thousands and have a proven track record of operational use along the rivers in Newcastle during storms. Before implementation, leak tests and wave resistance tests were conducted by an independent third-party organization.

【EU Funding Project】 The six Balkan countries, including Turkey, have introduced H80 type water stop boards with corner sections, totaling 2,800 meters. Training was conducted in addition to joint exercises in Germany, with individual training in each country, and further joint sessions in Croatia. Over 500 participants from 12 countries took part in practical deployment and operational training based on assumed flood disaster scenarios.
