The long-awaited ultrasonic flaw detector has evolved and is back!
The USM38 JE is the successor to the USM35X JE. It complies with the basic operational specifications of the "JSNDI Specification Digital Ultrasonic Flaw Detector" set by the Japan Non-Destructive Testing Association. Basically, the key layout, menu structure, and operation are the same as the USM35X JE. It has been made even easier to use and its functionality has been improved. Screenshots and flaw detection data can be saved to an SD card, making it a versatile ultrasonic flaw detector suitable for a wide range of inspections. *Starting in 2027, it will be the device used for lending in the UT practical examination by JSNDI. (The choice between G type and R type will no longer be available.) 【Features】 ■ No operational stress due to the same key layout and menu structure as the USM35X JE. ■ Equipped with JIS-DAC function (up to 16 points recording) and S-DAC function (distance-amplitude characteristic curve). ■ Features color-coded display for angle skip points. (Color-coded display on the screen every 0.5S, 1.0S, and 1.5S) ■ Battery operating time is 13 hours. (When using standard lithium-ion battery) ■ Screen display colors can be selected according to the working environment. ■ Can connect to external monitors or projectors via VGA output with a dedicated cable.
