The Volex QSFP56 active copper direct attach cable features four 50Gbps PAM-4 transmit channels and four receive channels. This cable assembly complies with 50G and 200G Ethernet, as well as InfiniBand High Data Rate (HDR) specifications. The Volex QSFP56 active DAC enhances signal quality (signal integrity) under high data rates through advanced linear equalization. As a result, it achieves a transmission distance of up to 7m compared to a maximum of 3m for the passive version, minimizing cable size and providing the best flexibility.
