[Seminar] Basics and Applications of Plastic Welding Technology

A special seminar that covers new application examples including dissimilar material joining of plastic and metal, allowing participants to acquire knowledge that can be applied in practice!

Our company will hold a seminar aimed at acquiring the fundamentals of joining technology for application in design and manufacturing. The seminar is titled "Fundamentals and Applications of Plastic Welding Technology – Including the Principles of Various Welding Techniques, Characteristics (Advantages and Disadvantages), and Application Examples." We will systematically organize the principles and characteristics of various welding methods such as heat plate, vibration, ultrasonic, and laser welding, along with their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, we will cover application examples including dissimilar material joining of plastics and metals, allowing participants to acquire knowledge applicable to practical work. Additionally, we will introduce specialized content from the author's research on ultrasonic joining, as well as the latest trends in new technologies related to dissimilar material welding using lasers for plastic/steel materials, as well as friction stir welding and electromagnetic forming.
