basic information
【Lecture Overview】 In recent years, in addition to waste issues and climate change, the transition to a "circular economy" has become an urgent challenge from the perspective of resource constraints, due to the increasing global demand for resources and geopolitical risks. The significance of promoting resource circulation as an economic activity, which has primarily been advanced from the perspective of waste management and the 3Rs, is growing. In May of this year, a revised law promoting the effective use of resources, which mandates the utilization of recycled resources, was enacted. This lecture will provide a detailed explanation of the current status and challenges of resource circulation economic policies, as well as future initiatives aimed at establishing a "growth-oriented resource autonomous economy," including the development of regulations and rules. 【Lecture Items】 ■ Growth-oriented resource autonomous economic strategy (30min) ■ Collaboration between industry, government, and academia (30min) ■ Development of rules (30min) ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange session
