【Lecture Overview】 In Shunan City, efforts are being made to utilize hydrogen and wood biomass, taking advantage of the local characteristics where a large amount of high-purity hydrogen is produced at the Shunan Industrial Complex and approximately 80% of the area is covered by forests. Additionally, the Shunan Industrial Complex Decarbonization Promotion Council is promoting the maintenance and enhancement of the industrial competitiveness of the Shunan Industrial Complex and decarbonization through collaboration among industry, academia, government, and the private sector. Currently, discussions are underway aimed at realizing a carbon-neutral industrial complex, starting with the utilization of ammonia.
