【Lecture Overview】 MOL (Mitsui O.S.K. Lines) aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and has established the "MOL Group Environmental Vision 2.0" in June 2020 as a roadmap for realizing a sustainable society. Since then, it has been revised and upgraded to versions 2.1 and 2.2. In this lecture, we will discuss the initiatives taken after the formulation of the vision, adjustments to environmental changes, and the measures and challenges facing the international shipping industry in light of the agreements reached at IMO MEPC83 in April of this year.
