Arnite PET & PBT, with excellent fluidity, mechanical properties, and superior processing characteristics, is suitable for precision parts in a wide range of applications including automotive, electrical and electronic, consumer goods, and food packaging. Both polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate are hydrolysis resistant and must be dried before injection molding. However, PET requires an even lower moisture content than PBT. Due to its low hygroscopicity, Arnite offers excellent dimensional stability, high strength, and rigidity at room temperature. In automotive development, hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance are crucial for maintaining quality in high humidity and high-temperature environments.
