Wet dispersants for the dispersion stabilization of pigments and fillers in thermoplastic resins.
BYK-MAX D 4221
Solvent-free wetting dispersant suitable for dispersion stabilization and compounding of solid content in masterbatches for thermoplastic resins.
Wet dispersant suitable for the production of color masterbatches in powder form BYK-MAX D 4221 - Developed to achieve good throughput during masterbatch production while providing optimal dispersibility - Allows for sufficient wettability of pigments before melting the polymer carrier - Adsorbs onto the pigment surface, leading to stabilization due to steric hindrance, making aggregates easily dispersible and preventing re-agglomeration - Suitable for compounding silica-based fillers (talc, forlastonite, mica) in PA, PET, and PBT
