AI eyes watching over the site 24 hours a day. A sure step towards zero accidents: "Y-MillAI Alert."
"Y-MillAI" is the next-generation AI series from Yoshikawa Industries, symbolizing "intelligence that watches over on-site workers." As "a reliable partner for your factory that ensures safety," it contributes to improving safety in manufacturing environments. The Y-MillAI Alert is a safety system that automatically detects intrusions into hazardous areas using object detection AI. By simply setting up hazardous areas, it monitors workers day and night, enabling extensive surveillance and is expected to reduce the burden of safety management and prevent accidents. 【Features】 ■ High-precision AI detection Instantly detects intrusions into hazardous areas Accurately identifies people and machines, minimizing false detections ■ Flexible implementation methods Allows selection of the optimal configuration for the environment (minimum configuration/PLC integration/utilization of existing cameras) High compatibility with existing equipment, keeping implementation costs down ■ Immediate safety control Prevents accidents by issuing alarms and automatically stopping equipment ■ Continuous optimization Supports remote updates Additional AI learning tailored to the site ■ Continuous monitoring Detects hazards continuously, even at night and on holidays For more details, please contact us.

Applications/Examples of results
【Achievements Introduction】 ■ Yoshikawa Industry Hirohata Branch (2023~) At the Yoshikawa Industry Hirohata Branch, there was a risk of worker intrusion into the movable area of the roll tipping platform. To address this, a system was established using AI cameras, equipment control controllers, and patrol lights to automatically stop the tipping platform when a worker intrudes. This successfully reduced accident risks and improved safety, becoming a successful case that was inspected by the direct safety officer. ■ Company A Coil Holder (2024~) Company A was concerned about hand entrapment accidents at the rotating part of the coil holder. A system was implemented using two AI cameras, PLC, GOT, and patrol lights to detect only hands and issue an alarm, preventing entrapment accidents. In November 2025, a system with an added automatic stop function was launched in another workplace. ■ Company B Packaging Line (2024~) In Company B's packaging line, there was a risk of contact accidents due to worker intrusion into operating equipment. A system was built using four AI cameras, PLC, GOT, and patrol lights to automatically stop the equipment when a person is detected in a danger area, allowing centralized management of detection status and history on a monitor. As a result, safety has significantly improved, and by 2025, it is being expanded to two other lines in different workplaces.
Company information
Starting with operations at the steelworks, Yoshikawa Industries has reached its 100th anniversary. We continue to take on challenges that break away from existing frameworks. As a challenge outside the steel industry, we established a dedicated manufacturer, Yoshikawa Industries RF Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (1999), and provide a total solution from chip design to tag manufacturing and system integration. Leveraging our 100 years of on-site know-how and expertise in RFID, we will engage with your site through "ICT × Safety × RFID." If you have any issues at your site, please feel free to contact us.
