The Thermo Scientific NanoDrop Ultra micro-volume spectrophotometer can quantify the concentration of DNA, RNA, and proteins in samples as small as 1 μL. It is equipped with Thermo Scientific Acclaro sample intelligence technology, which automatically detects contamination within the sample and displays the results after automatic correction. Furthermore, it can detect not only proteins, phenols, and guanidine hydrochloride in DNA and RNA but also contamination of ssRNA in dsDNA and dsDNA in ssRNA. This technology allows for accurate assessment of the sample's condition, enabling downstream experiments to proceed effectively. Measurements can be performed using the device alone or controlled from a PC. The Acclaro Pro (AP) model can measure high-concentration samples with an accuracy of less than 5%. - The built-in camera monitors for bubbles and abnormalities in the sample. - It is possible to set the measurement to start automatically when the arm is lowered. - Cuvette measurements are also possible (available only in the NanoDrop UltraC model).
