As part of our efforts in electrification technology, we have developed a drive motor for small EVs. The feature is an in-wheel type that directly drives the tires, differentiating itself from others by adopting a flat-shaped axial gap structure instead of the conventional radial structure. Furthermore, by using a "high-speed + reduction gear" specification, we have achieved miniaturization and increased torque, and by employing inexpensive ferrite magnets, we have reduced costs.
