The next-generation model Drifting COMBO, developed and successfully mass-produced by the Shenzhen-based venture Shanyi Technologies in China, features added functionality for lateral movement and rotation in its valet parking robot (vehicle transport robot) COMBO. It allows for diagonal movement while maintaining the vehicle's posture, in addition to the conventional vertical movement. It can also enter, transport, and exit vehicles from the side of the vehicle. Since there is no need to rev the engine, exhaust fumes won't be filled in the room even it is used in the building. It is ideal for vehicle transport tasks between conveyors in automotive factories, inspection processes, and transporting vehicles to outdoor finished vehicle yards. Additionally, it can be operated remotely with just one unit. It is also perfect for replacing display vehicles at car dealerships, moving broken down vehicles, illegally parked vehicles, and abandoned vehicles. It can be used on concrete and asphalt surfaces. It can handle bumps of up to 2 cm and cracks in the road up to 5 mm. It supports vehicles weighing up to 3 tons (3000 kg). It can handle slopes of up to 8°, and measures have been taken to prevent tire slippage (derail). It is also suitable for use on rainy days with puddles up to 2 cm deep.
