The MPC-RASSIO4 is a serial communication expansion board developed for the Raspberry Pi. It allows for the addition of 4 channels of UART/RS232C serial communication via SPI/I2C interface with the Raspberry Pi. (RoHS compliant.) ◆ Features 〇 Connection with Raspberry Pi Connects to the 40-pin expansion connector of the Raspberry Pi and communicates via I2C or SPI. 〇 SPI Mode Supports SPI clock rate of up to 26MHz (max). SPI Mode 0 〇 I2C Mode Our product operates at a data transfer speed of 1MHz frequency (SCL). I2C slave mode supports 7-bit addressing. *The default data transfer speed for I2C on the Raspberry Pi is 100kHz. Please change the data transfer speed setting on the Raspberry Pi to 1MHz for use. 〇 Others ◎ Each channel is equipped with a 128-byte FIFO buffer (for both transmitter and receiver). Supports baud rates for serial communication up to 115200bps. ◎ Automatic hardware flow control using RTS/CTS is possible with configuration.
