- Installation Method The pickup with a natural frequency of 14 Hz can be installed using both methods (a) and (b), but the pickup with a natural frequency of 4.5 Hz is limited to (a) or (b). In either case, it cannot be installed with the arrow pointing downward as shown in (c). A special fixture is required to ensure the arrow points upward.
