basic information
【Lecture Overview】 In the global trend towards decarbonization and biodiversity by 2050, discussions have begun on the mandatory disclosure of TNFD in addition to TCFD starting in 2027, leading to a growing demand for management that considers both decarbonization (CN) and biodiversity (NP). The first half of the session will explain domestic and international trends regarding CN and NP, as well as blue carbon, which is gaining attention as a carbon sink. The second half will introduce the "Ocean Revitalization Project," a business initiative centered around "seagrass beds," in collaboration with Kagawa University. This project aims to establish methods for quantifying environmental value while promoting investment in the marine sector, creating a system where investors and stakeholders involved in the "ocean" and "marine industries" can naturally benefit and gain advantages. 【Lecture Items】 ■ Overview of Blue Carbon ■ The "Ocean" Revitalization Project in collaboration with Kagawa University and DBJ ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange meeting
