The ULI-351/361 series (DB9) is a compact USB to RS-485 converter that adds an RS-485 port to a PC's USB port. It supports USB 2.0 (12Mbps) and serial communication at speeds up to 921.6kbps. Powered by USB bus power (low power consumption <100mA), it does not require an external power supply and comes with a 0.9m USB cable. Its small housing is suitable for inline installation, making it ideal for field service and mobile applications. The 351 series supports 4-wire RS-485, while the 361 series supports 2-wire RS-485. Additionally, the DK model allows for uniform COM port numbers across multiple PCs with a fixed serial number, simplifying setup during shared operations. The driver uses FTDI VCP and operates on Windows XP to 11 and Ubuntu. It has an operating temperature range of 0 to 70°C, providing stable communication even in industrial environments.
