A fiber collimator manufactured by a company celebrating its 70th anniversary.
Schäfter + Kirchhoff's optical fiber products include components for single-mode, polarization-maintaining (PM), and multimode fiber cables, covering UV to IR. Our fiber couplers/collimators are equipped with focusing functions and are compatible with various connector types {including FC connectors FC/PC, FC/APC, ST, LSA (compatible with DIN, AVIO, or AVIM), and SMA-905 (F-SMA)}. We also offer non-magnetic couplers made of titanium. Schäfter + Kirchhoff was established in 1955 in Hamburg, Germany, starting with traditional lens design and customized optical solutions. Over time, the company gradually shifted its focus to today's core products, developing optomechanical and optoelectronic systems for various research and development fields, the aerospace industry, medicine, and industry for nearly 70 years. Products are shipped worldwide from Hamburg and have received tremendous support in spectral and quantum experimental applications.
