We would like to introduce a case where we utilized the Monozukuri Subsidy to implement the "Automatic Chamfering Machine for Metal Parts," which aims to automate and reduce labor in the chamfering process, a finishing stage in metal processing, thereby improving quality and productivity. The chamfering work in the finishing process relied heavily on manual labor, becoming a bottleneck that hindered efficiency in the overall metal processing workflow, which led to its introduction. As a result of the implementation, the operating rate improved from an average of 32% to a maximum of 41%. The number of defective products decreased, and customer complaints were reduced.
