"CAT" is a copper discoloration inhibitor devised to form a highly corrosion-resistant thin film on the copper surface of printed circuit boards. Since the treatment solution is acidic, it can remove the surface oxide film simply by immersing it in the solution in the case of a thin oxide film. This reduces the cumbersome tasks such as applying rust prevention treatment after activation treatment.
