Accelerating the development of pesticides and biostimulants through inclusive exploration.
Using reactive oxygen species (ROS) and chloroplast activity as indicators, we select compounds that affect the decrease/increase of plant activity. (Features) ■ By using ROS as an indicator, compounds with novel mechanisms of action can be selected efficiently. ■ Comprehensive exploration of pesticide types is possible (herbicidal and fungicidal activity, immune activity, environmental stress resistance). ■ Compared to conventional pesticide selection, high-throughput analysis (300 compounds/day) is possible. → Compounds that affect plant activity are selected from small sample sizes in a single test using a 96-well plate. *ROS are produced within the plant body as a result of environmental stress, defense responses, and metabolic activities. While they are important for plant life phenomena, they can also cause cellular damage due to oxidation.
