"The higher the functionality of the resin, the more its original properties are compromised by coloring..." Our fluorescent pigment 'Smartcolor LP Yellow' solves such challenges. As a case study, we produced 3D filaments using high-performance bioengineering plastics (such as PC-based bioplastics). With an extremely low addition amount of just 0.1wt%, we achieved a vivid fluorescent color with excellent visibility while maximizing the material's inherent properties of "high transparency," "impact resistance," "heat resistance," and "flame retardancy." Due to minimal yellowing and the ability to maintain clear coloration even under harsh conditions equivalent to PC resin, it can be widely applied from improving the visibility of prototype parts to actual machine components. This case study involves 3D filaments, but we also offer standalone dye supplies and masterbatch solutions for resins used by customers.
