The "Center Flow Band Screen" is a treatment device suitable for coarse and fine screening of freshwater, seawater, urban wastewater, and industrial wastewater. It boasts class-leading filtration efficiency and employs a unique honeycomb screen element, an integrated water channel design, and a stainless steel casing, making it capable of handling harsh operating conditions. The incoming flow is directed to the screen within the water channel, where the flow direction is changed by 90° to pass through the screen panel, capturing solids on the screen while allowing wastewater to pass through. Typically, operation is controlled by the upstream water level or differential pressure level, and when the set water level or differential pressure is reached, the band screen is brought to a stop. The captured solids build up a mat that improves capture rates. For openings smaller than 5mm, a capture rate exceeding 87% has been demonstrated, making it ideal for treatment before delicate MBR systems. Additionally, the honeycomb screen exhibits the industry's best water treatment performance with over 90% open area, achieving processing capabilities 20-40% higher than standard perforated panels.
