Here is a case study of a request from a customer in the steel industry for the repair of a conveyor belt used in a high-temperature furnace. The customer uses a conveyor belt to transport metal sheets on their production line. The belt was torn in two places due to burrs on the metal sheets being transported. However, since the price of a single belt is around 900,000 yen, the customer requested a partial repair through a method called "insertion."
